STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Oct. 18, 2023) – If you aspire to launch your own business, you are invited to take a first step in achieving your goal by attending SCORE-Staten Island’s aptly titled seminar, “So, You Want to Start Your Own Business!”
Presented in collaboration with the Staten Island Chamber of Commerce – and sponsored by Richmond County Savings Bank, a division of Flagstar Bank, N.A., Member FDIC – the free in-person “lunch and learn” workshop will take place Friday, Oct. 27, noon to 2 p.m., in suite 240 at the Chamber’s headquarters: 2555 Richmond Ave., New Springville.
The learning event will be facilitated by Alfred Grillo, a certified public accountant and SCORE-Staten Island certified business mentor, who will highlight essential information and considerations pertaining to startups, such as: The Myths & Realities of Entrepreneurship; What Does it Take to Run a Business?; Different Types of Business Structures; Components of Business Ownership; Legal Aspects, and Business Plan Basics.
The presentation will conclude with a question-and-answer session.
