Workshop, in partnership with Flagstar Bank, will explain how to enhance credit profiles

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (June 12, 2025)– SCORE-Staten Island, in partnership with Flagstar Bank, will present a free one-hour webinar designed to help entrepreneurs understand and manage their business credit.

The online event, titled “Managing Business Credit,” will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom.

Featured speakers Tammy Cope, Flagstar Branch Banking Leader, and Chris Timari, Flagstar Market Leader, will guide participants through the fundamentals of establishing, building and maintaining strong business credit.

Attendees will also gain insight into the differences between personal and business credit, how lenders assess creditworthiness, and how to enhance their credit profiles to access financing and grow responsibly.

Topics will include:

• Managing credit effectively
• Understanding what potential lenders look for
• Navigating the business credit lifecycle
• Exploring financing options
• Accessing free educational resources

The presentation will additionally provide a question-and-answer segment.
