STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Owners and managers of small businesses are invited to increase their financial acumen during an upcoming SCORE-Staten Island webinar featuring three experts from the world of banking.
The free online workshop, “Financial Empowerment for Small Businesses,” is designed to provide small-business operators with vital financial knowledge and tools needed to successfully thrive on their entrepreneurial journey.
The webinar – set for Thursday, May 16, 1 to 2 p.m., via Zoom – will be facilitated by M&T Bank professionals who will cover a variety of essential topics, such as: Small Business Banking Services; How Businesses Use and Obtain Credit; Understanding Different Loan Types; Credit Card Surcharge Guidance and Violations, and Fraud-Protection Steps to Reduce Financial Losses. A question-and-answer session will follow.
The informative presentation will feature three M&T Bank representatives: Christina Capric, branch manager; Michael Padilla, treasury management consultant, and Jared Schwartz, commercial payment solution manager, merchant services.
