STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Victory State Bank, a recognized industry leader in customer service, recently unveiled the latest reason for businesses to join its customer roster: The convenience of depositing checks without having to leave your office.
“Victory State Bank customers now have the option of scanning checks at their place of business and electronically transmitting them to us over a secure line,” explained Ralph M. A friendly competition among employees from all five Victory State Bank locations resulted in a name and catchphrase for the newly introduced service.
Operations Assistant Darah Boyd, who works at Victory State Bank’s headquarters in Great Kills, came up with the winning name for the new service: DepositExpress.
Her colleague Kathie Cassiliano, branch manager of Victory’s location in West Brighton, suggested the winning phrase: “We have a ‘scantastic’ way to process your business’s check deposits.”
