Annual event will be presented by five major Realtor associations for the first time in its history
NEW YORK — The annual Global Real Estate Summit NYC will mark a major milestone Nov. 4, hosted for the first time by five major Realtor associations with a combined membership of more than 51,000 real estate professionals.
Spotlighting international real estate business strategies, stories and successes, this year’s event is presented by Global Summit founder Staten Island Board of Realtors® (SIBOR), along with Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors® (HGAR); Long Island Board of Realtors® (LIBOR); Greater Bergen Association of Realtors® (GBAR), and Brooklyn Board of Realtors® (BBOR).
Underscoring the theme of “The Sky’s the Limit When Dealing in the Global Marketplace,” the 2019 summit will offer a day filled with information and networking opportunities for real estate professionals and entrepreneurs in associated fields who seek to work internationally. Exhibitors will showcase some of the latest products and services available to the real estate industry.
Presentations and panel discussions – featuring top brokers, investors, legal experts, and technology specialists – will address issues impacting the international real estate market and help guide real estate professionals toward adopting a proactive global mindset; recognizing opportunities; leveraging connections to increase cross-border business, and acquiring value as a trusted advisor to foreign buyers, sellers and investors. Additionally, developers will present updates on residential and commercial projects in the United States and abroad, highlighting unique opportunities for brokers.
Featured speakers will include Dean Foster, founder of DFA Intercultural Global Solutions; HGTV Personality Noble Black, associate broker with Douglas Elliman Real Estate; and Mitch Roschelle, partner with PwC, a global network of firms delivering business assurance, tax and consulting services. The summit also will include more than 20 other presenters and panelists.
Beginning at 7:45 a.m. with registration, networking-breakfast and expo, the summit will continue throughout the day with workshops and presentations, concluding with an early evening cocktail reception. The day’s activities will be held at the New York Marriott Marquis, 1535 Broadway, Manhattan.
“The face of real estate is changing in many ways and the globalization of real estate brokerage is playing a significant role in the changing paradigm,” said Sandy Krueger, CEO of SIBOR. “This conference and others like it are key to helping real estate professionals to participate and succeed in providing service to this important segment of the market.”
The event’s premier sponsors are the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) and the New York State Association of Realtors® (NYSAR).
