This is why you won’t want to miss the upcoming SCORE-Staten Island workshop, “Bridging the Gap Between Technology and HIPAA Compliance.”
The free event will feature data-security expert Patrick Buono,president and CEO of Staten Island-headquartered Aurora Computer Technology Inc.
Hosted by Richmond County Savings Bank, a division of New York Community Bank, Member FDIC, the workshop will take place Wednesday, Jan. 22, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., inthe auditorium of the Regina M. McGinn, M.D., Education Center at the North campus of Staten Island University Hospital/Northwell Health, 475 Seaview Ave., Ocean Breeze.
“This workshop is beneficial to anyone in the healthcare industry, such as doctors, nurses, and office administrators, as well as accountants, attorneys, and computer-technology specialists,” said John J. Amodio, chairman of SCORE-Staten Island. “It is also informative to anyone concerned about the privacy and protection of their medical information.”
