STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – SCORE-Staten Island has teamed up with New York City Council Member Joseph C. Borelli to present a series of free 60-minute marketing webinars for small-business owners. Over the course of three separate online workshops in May, attendees will gain insight into: Using e-mail marketing as an easy, effective and highly affordable business tool; optimizing the results of social media initiatives; and leveraging LinkedIn to network and promote a business or not-for-profit.

The workshops will kick off Thursday, May 14, 9 a.m., with “Email Marketing – Unbelievably Powerful! Yet Simple!” presented by Constant Contact email specialist and certified StoryBrand guide Susan Wilcox, president of eDynamic Marketing LLC.
The second of the three seminars, “Making Facebook Work For Your Business,” will take place Thursday, May 21, 9 a.m. The workshop will feature Charles J. Di Bartolo, president of BetterBizWorks LLC, who will discuss a variety of ways to maximize social media efforts to drive traffic to your website.
On Thursday, May 28, 9 a.m., SCORE Certified Mentor John Quadrino, asenior vice president and head of Employee Engagement Practice at CTR Factor, will focus upon “LinkedIn: Effective Strategies to Improve Online Presence.”
