STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Sept. 4, 2015) – Saint Paul’s School of Nursing, Staten Island, an educational facility with roots that extend for 111 years, will add a new chapter to its history Sept. 9.
During a gathering at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield, 6 to 9 p.m., on Wednesday, the school, formerly Saint Vincent Catholic Centers School of Nursing, will mark the launch of its Alumni Association – and induct the first three members of the school’s newly created Hall of Fame. The school’s name became Saint Paul’s School of Nursing in 2009.
“We choose these three extraordinary graduates to be our first Hall of Famers based upon their academic excellence, and the resilience and determination they displayed in reaching their goals in the face of life-altering personal challenges,” said Wynn Blanton, president of Saint Paul’s School of Nursing, Staten Island.
Each of the honorees is a graduate of one of the schools three programs: Nursing, Medical Assistant and Dental Assistant.
The Hall of Famers are Lisa Ann Amari, Medical Assistant Program; Michael Holzer, Nursing Program, and Dominique Sirianni, Dental Assistant Program.
