STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (March 15, 2017) – Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR) Realtor Day is set to take place March 23 at the Hilton Garden Inn, in the borough’s Bloomfield community.

The trade show annually attracts hundreds of Realtors, as well as other professionals serving the real estate industry. The event will feature more than 100 national and local exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in real estate products, services and innovative technology.

The exhibition, which begins at 11:30 a.m., traditionally follows SIBOR’s Top Producer Awards Breakfast, which begins at 8 a.m. The day concludes with a cocktail reception at 4:30 p.m.

The expo’s keynote speaker will be decorated U.S. Black Hawk Pilot and officer Elizabeth McCormick. She will share professional-development secrets for business with her stories of overcoming seemingly insurmountable obstacles as a helicopter pilot, inspiring “YOU to Soar 2 Success!”

Audience members will leave knowing how to:

• Discover the high-performing success principle while learning to fly a helicopter (YES REALLY!)
• Develop and lead an effective team with your No.1 secret weapon
• Soar to a higher level of advancement by influencing others to lead

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

SIBOR and its Young Professionals Network (YPN) annually host a variety of fund-raising events in support of community initiatives. While exploring the wide variety of vendor displays, trade show attendees are encouraged to stop by the YPN table for information about Carl’s House, a non-profit community resource that works to bridge the gap between addiction and recovery.

YPN is also a supporter of the Children’s Aid Society, a non-profit group that seeks to inspire and enable young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. While at the YPN table, visitors may drop off new or gently used books for children in grades K through 6.
